CCR Question 4 Draft

I integrated one specific editing software into the project, Filmora. I used this as the sole video editing software, and used different commands such as editing the lighting, cropping shots, and adding text to the video. As far as cameras went, I used a GoPro 5, which is a small, portable camera that provides professional level filming, especially while in motion. I didn't use any special settings or filters, I waited to format the video until after it was taken.

CCR Question 3 Draft

My production skills increased greatly over the course of filming. I learned how to position the camera well, and in a spot where it gets the best footage. I also learned different ways to trick the audience, such as switching drivers so that I could film while someone else drives. At the beginning I had no filming skills, I could barely take a good picture. Now when I film, it doesn't look professional or even close to it, but it looks far better than it was. I also know how to navigate the video editing software with ease, despite not even knowing about its existence before I made the video.

CCR Question 2 Draft

My film engages with audiences by being relatable. Its target audience, high schoolers and nostalgic adults all remember being late for school, and running to get there as fast as possible. In a trailer, I would release that clip as apart of it. I would also mostly market the trailers to ad-friendly streaming services, which have the ideal audience I am looking for. I would also add the trailer to TV channels, specifically ones that show movies in the same genre. I learned during my distribution research just how much research and guessing goes into marketing. I was also surprised at just how large the budget was, especially compared to the price of the film.

CCR Question #1 Draft

For my video, I used a few different strategies to film what was going on. Of my genre, I used the common 'running out the door,' that many films of the same genre share. I also included a take of the main character being bored with life, while it is not as common, it still is seen often. I also included a voiceover, which many films of the same genre have to give some narration or background. The social groups recognized in my project are High School students, which is their actual social group in ordinary life. They are portrayed as bored and overworked, just trying to get through life.
