Project Selection: Magazine

Magazine's are an interesting type of literature which I am heavily considering for my project. I have experience from class, from multiple sources, including the newspapers which brought down Nixon, behind the scenes of both past newspapers, and behind the scene of modern newspapers. I also read a magazine, called Dupont Registry, on a monthly basis, along with a few other car magazines, including Motortrend and Car and Driver. The reason that I should do a magazine project is that I am good at writing stories, and I am good at research. However, I am better at writing fiction than non-fiction, and I don't like spinning the truth or embellishing, as most magazine do. If I do decide to complete a magazine, it is almost guaranteed to be about cars, more specifically the C8 Corvette or the Porsche Taycan.

Films and movies are a topic that I can use for my AICE Media Studies Project. I have created a few short films before, so I have at least a little experience. In class we have been taught camera angles along with other filming procedures, which I can employ to create a good movie. In Media Studies class, we have watched an assortment of films, ranging from fiction, like Ferris Bueller's Day Off, to nonfiction, All the President's Men, and I have gathered many ideas for a movie in between.
